Speed Enforcement Check

As part of our Road Safety priority, the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been speaking with our colleagues in Roads Policing Unit, with regards to speeding concerns in communities, you have highlighted while engaging with us through surveys, community meeting and at events.

With that in mind, officers from Road Policing Unit conducted speed check on Monday 9th March on Main Road, Grindleford within the 30 limit, with 5 motorist being stopped and reported for the offences of speeding.

These priorities were decided on after they were overwhelmingly voted for by our local community in the Community Voice surveys and in direct communication with the team at our Street Meet events.
